The crime in West Palm Beach, Fl is not the highest. There are always places you want to avoid like Lake Worth. The school system in Palm Beach County is pretty well. All of my schooling was done in Palm Beach County, in middle school years they had plenty of extracurricular activities. That is where i found my love for band. In high school i was in the marching band for all 4 years and even took some classes for college credits. There is plenty to do there, especially the beach is one of the main hand out places and the mall is the second. By the age of 16 most people have their licences and cars to get around since public transportation is not the best and runs about once an hour. They do have a new train line that will get you from Palm Beach County to Fort Lauderdale in about 30 minutes.
Some of the favorite places to visit in Palm Beach County is the mall especially Palm Beach Gardens, they have a lot of play areas for children and a lot of stores to visit. The food court has a lot of variety. The beach is also a great place to hand out, the white sandy beaches and clear blue ocean makes it very inviting. One thing to look out for is Lake Worth, it is not the best area and usually a lot of the younger people hang out there that do not have a lot to do. Also, downtown West Palm Beach during the day is a great place to visit, they have a local downtown area is Calmatis Street where there is a movie theater and some shopping areas. It is mostly a fun place to hang out safety and walk around.
Florida in general is a nasty place. I'm giving the nasty award to Florida for having air so thick and human I could feel the sticky moisture seep into my mouth when I yawned. I couldn't even breathe
properly my first week there. I'd come into the kitchen for a midnight snack and see a lizard run across the floor to hide under my fridge.
This might be the most polluted, hard-to-breathe-in state ever. The palm trees make it scenic but it's really just nasty. The culture isn't necessarily diverse but it's nice to see mostly Latinos, they're really friendly and accommodating.
I absolutely love West Palm Beach Florida! It is one of my favorite vacation spots in the US. I always feel so relaxed and at ease when sitting on the beautiful beaches. The water is gorgeous and the sand is perfect. There is just enough around for shoppingentertainment to not get bored, but not too much that you feel overwhelemed.
My favorite place is of course the beach itself. I have tried mutliple beaches there and not a single one has disappointed. Public or private you are going to find yourself having an amazing time.
