Nick and I are big fans of the NFL. We’ve been playing fantasy football since high school and watch games throughout the season. Nick is a big Chargers fan, having grown up in San Bernardino. I grew up a Giants and Jets fan in New Jersey, which is possible despite what my in-laws say.
And as every good New Jerseyian knows, the Giants and Jets are actually New Jersey teams, no matter what their names say. They play in the New Jersey Meadowlands.
This thought got us arguing: how many NFL teams are in each state?
Because I’m writing the article, I choose to make it where the team plays its home games. Interestingly enough, the Commanders play in Maryland, so DC is without a football team, too.
By NJ logic.
