Minimal from what I have experienced in the last 10 years I've lived here. Schools are pretty bad, but safe in my area. Love the location and proximity of the Famous Las Vegas strip and LAS airport as well as the shopping malls and supermarkets. I think the housing prices have gotten a little out of control, but recently seem to be coming back down to earth.
The terrible schools, from elementary to the lack of universities and colleges available in the city and state as a whole. The drive in theater, although located in North Las Vegas, it's still one ofmy favorite places to go. Town Square is a favorite with the family because you have everything there, but a car dealership. Can be pricey to hangout for drinks and food, but that's why happy hour exist I suppose. I guess the size of the homes for the money that's being ask for is pretty sad and disappointing. I also hate that the schools provide so little to the student athletes and the parents are responsible for so much that it feels like I'm paying them for my child to participate.
