I had a really lovely and memorable experience when I stayed in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. I had gone to Broken Arrow to attend a Bible College for two years between 2002 - 2004. The people in the City of Broken Arrow were very nice and friendly. The people were warm, courteous and friendly from people you meet at the post office, bank, school, supermarket, church and recreation centers. Broken Arrow is a developed city with a good road network. The crime rate in the city of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma is quite low. It is known to be 20% lower than the national average and 34% lower than the crime rate in all of Oklahoma. The cost of living is quite affordable in Broken Arrow. One could rent a decent two bedroom apartment starting at $600 per month. The cost of homes is also affordable and the median home price is about $150,000. Food is also affordable and there are many farmers markets located in Broken Arrow. There are both quality public and private schools in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The average school test scores in Broken Arrow are 45% higher than the national average. They also have great Bible Training Colleges which bring people from all parts of USA to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The weather was really good coming from Minneapolis, it was so lovely having cool and mild weather almost all year round. It is free of earth quakes and many other natural disasters. There are great restaurants, cinemas, parks and recreation areas in Broken Arrow.
The sense of community is very tangible in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Also, I enjoyed meeting people of different nationalities and different background. We often enjoyed dinner at Chedars Restaurant with friends and acquaintances. The Rooftop Bar also had great food, good service and a great view. There is also the Broken Arrow Community Playhouse with unusual and interesting plays, dance and performances. At Christmas time people will come to experience the lovely RHEMA Christmas lights. So beautiful to behold. Every Christmas the RHEMA Christmas lights gets even more impressive.
