Mind-numbingly boring and around two hours away from any larger cities where there are more things to do. Crime is quite high for such a small city and it's mostly drug-related, probably because drugs are the only form of entertainment.
The only good things about Victoria are Moo-Moo's, Dairy Treet, the Pumphouse, and Halepaska's Bakery.
Victoria, TX is a great place to live. Sure there is crime just like every town. But the schools are great, we have a University and a community college. The town has a population of about 70,000 but it's got that everybody-knows-everybody feel to it.
When the oil field picks up we are booming. There are so many job opportunities here and close by plants to work for. And we are only an hour drive from the coast, and 2 hours in all directions from the larger cities, that's why we are nicknamed "The Crossroads"
