The crime rate is fairly low, especially for being so close to Washington DC. I have 4 kids who attend local public schools. I absolutely love king elementary, where my 9 year old attends. They have a really great community that I feel a part of, the teachers are wonderful, the staff is great and the educational quality is above average. I have one daughter who goes to Beville middle school. This school is average-below average. There are a few superb teachers, but most of the teachers and staff shuffle the kids through like cattle and inflate grades undeservingly. I have another child in Graham park middle school. This school is many degrees above beville. The teaching staff is fantastic and she gets a great education and learns a lot. My oldest son goes to the local alternative school. That school is complete garbage. The town of Woodbridge is a nice local community. The people are friendly and I feel fairly safe. It is close to major cities and there is a lot to do within driving distance.
The community is very diverse and locals are friendly, which I love. There isn't many good restaurants, predominantly chain places and fast food.
